Above is South Beach Miami. This is what everyone thinks of when I say I'm working in Miami. Not so much.
This is from Overtown just north of downtown Miami. This is where I have been doing most of my work. Really. Not so different from Baltimore... just a different shade of brown.

A few years ago I went to this swanky little club in South Beach called Bed, and after we came out, we discovered our rental car had been towed. Had a taxi take me 5 minutes away to the tow place, and it looked exactly like that picture below, except without all the cops. Funny how neighborhoods can change in a snap.
